Celebs are sort of doing it. Alicia Keys surprised the fashionblogger out of me when I first saw her on the Voice makeup free. Well by make up free, we mean no eye make up because she certainly was wearing foundation to even out that skin tone (I don’t care how great your skin is). Then Kim K went makeup free in Paris, on the same day she was held at gunpoint. In all those last pics of her, I can also tell you she was not make up free as those lashes went all the way back to Calabasas.
In any event, because I feel the need to be gutsy and because I love a challenge, I would love to see you all in great pics with no makeup. This isn’t easy for me because I have the smallest beady eyes and when I was a kid, I recall thinking I had the strangest looking eyes. They were so small and blue, and all you could see were two blue eyeballs, protruding over a head of black hair and black lashes.
Thankfully, as I grew up and learned to have fun with make up, I realized they weren’t as bad a I thought. The point is, love who you are, with or without make up. Use make up as a way to lift your spirits. The use of makeup can empower you. The absence of make up can liberate you. Either way, make it work for you gorgeous ! STAY FAB xoxo
