So first of all let me apologize profusely for being so tardy with updating my blog. While I have been active on instagram, I have been falling behind on my blog posts. Wait…I am going to do 25 push ups for you right now…okay done…whee.
Please accept my apology. I was moving (lame excuse I know) but can you imagine how difficult it was for me to go through my closet and try to ditch some old stuff? Nearly an impossible task.
While my closet make over may take a wee bit longer than expected, I have accepted it and am moving on with my life. So I am back to my regular routine. Thanks for your patience with me! I kept getting messages from many of you asking me where is the next blog post? Finally, I am back.
So a lot has happened in the last 2 weeks. One big event was a red carpet event I did last week and I am going to post those pics shortly. As Fall is upon us I am starting to think of fall outfits of course, and the hot trend for this season (it comes and goes every 4 years), is fringe.
I must say, I never was a huge fan of fringe until this season. I can’t get enough of it now! I think the fab thing about fringe and why I love it so much is that you can work it anyway you want. You don’t have to opt for the bohemian look (although it totally rocks with a ’70’s hat and super denim), you can still look chic ad sophisticated with fringe. In fact this summer I tried on a pair of exquisite Louboutin sandals which were totally classy …and yeah only $1.200!
The way you style is says it all, and dictates the look you want to achieve. Because fringe is such a prominent look, you want to wear that one piece of fringe and keep the rest simple. Do it up any way you are feeling it, and show the world how much you love your fringe…I promise it will love you back.
You can pick up fringe boots, a fringe bag or a darling skirt. Fringe is so hot this season, you can find it everywhere. You don’t have to spend a fortune on one piece. I think fringe is that type of style you don’t want to splurge on. Zara and H&M have lots of great options. The point is, get a cheap piece (but not so cheap that it smells and looks like plastic) and have fun with it because fringe is one of those things that comes and goes quickly each season. But for Fall 2015, it’s HOT so I urge you to get creative, explore your fringe side and send me your pics!
Browse this post to get fringe inspired, from runway to street style looks….and of course the Fashion Justice way to fringe style is only getting started. Can’t wait to continue styling it up. Try on a few outfits, in a few different ways before you leave the house…this fringe thing takes a bit of creative thinking but trust that you can do it and look absolutely fabulous…because you will!
