It’s always so nice to see my family back home in Montreal (I still call it home), and it’s a double whammy for me when I get to switch into a few different outfits. My first event came up unexpectedly. I didn’t r realize I would be attending a black tie event for a charitable event, The Miriam Foundation for autism was not on my list of things to do when I hit the road but I am glad I made it out.
As is often the case with many of these events, everyone is in black except for yours truly! I refuse to wear black to these types of events because I know everyone and their mother will be in black. Now as I say that here I am in my colourful outfit with my adorable cousin Stacey who is in black. I will give her a pass because she is adorably pregnant so I say she is allowed….but what about every other woman in the room? Sweeties, get out of your black and into your colours cause life is more fun in colour!
For my niece’s confirmation (and the reason for my trip), I headed out to church in a blue Marciano dress with beaded white cuffs. Sorry I couldn’t manage a better pic but this one will have to do. I added a white sparkly necklace to match the look and feel of the dress, and voila! Not bad for a church going outfit I say!! Praise be to the Lord!

After the church it’s party time, in the traditional Italian party animal family kind of way (I think this may be more of a MY FAMILY party animal thing…or do all Italians party like this?). There is nothing my family loves more than a good party….well other than a big Sunday lunch pasta feast. With a good party comes a great outfit! Time to switch gears and make way for a fun leopard party dress.
The unbearable tropical like heat called for a pull your hair all the way back kind of a hair day! The best way to top that off sometimes is to add a great pink lipstick (I usually mix 3 colours), and a great set of long lashes…and that’s it! You are all done! Oh and don’t forget a necklace for a pop of colour against the leopard.

Yes great style is a matter of genes and it runs in the family. My adorable nephews have the style gene, starting with great hair. Move over Kardashians, we have a family with better hair than you!
At the end of a great night of dancing with my family, it’s time to ditch my YSLs for the ride home and what better place to rest for the night? Where do you ditch your faves after a night out? Let me know where they retreat for the night and send me some pics. Tag me on my instagram page with your pics @ “lawyerpina147” . xoxoxo
